Dental assistants aid dentists during oral examinations and procedures, which is connected to dental nursing. Adjusting the lighting, applying numbing anaesthetic to patients' gums, and using a suction hose to remove saliva are just a few of the tasks that a dental assistant could be responsible for. Patients may also get instructions for after a surgery or advice on basic dental hygiene from you. You may occasionally be required to carry out standard office tasks like scheduling appointments and accepting payments. Along with preparing and cleaning exam or operating rooms, stocking equipment, and sanitising tools, additional responsibilities could include taking medical histories of patients and making sure they're comfortable while in the dentist's chair.
